          Type 'term len 0'
          Type 'sh ip bgp'
          Collect the output

A few problems with this approach
The Cisco TCP implementation isn't robust enough
Never built to xfer 100+Mb "files"
Give people accounts on "close" hosts
'sh ip bgp' format was never built to be parsed
Note Andre's problem with X.Y.0.0/24 and X.Y.0.0 (/16)

Current Thinking 
Build an "Export RIB" facility
ip export rib <port> <host> [pre|post]
XML,MRT,Text, or ...
Status: client coded (text format) in new version of IOS
